Property Description
Discover the allure of this beautifully restored 1929 Neo-Tudor 'kit-home' situated in the historic Pensacola Park. Over the last decade, extensive updates have been made, including a complete renovation of the plumbing and electrical systems. The original kitchen has been remodeled, and a remarkable new addition includes a full bath, living room, and dining room, all highlighted by stunning exposed beams. The home features its original beveled glass and wood windows, protected by custom Allied storm windows for improved efficiency. The chimney has been relined, and a Norwegian Jotul wood-burning stove with an electric blower has been installed, providing a warm and inviting heat source during chilly winter months.. Original hardwood floors are present in the foyer, stairs, living room, and all three upstairs bedrooms, complemented by high-gloss painted moulding that enhances the home's character. The full bath showcases an original tub and distinctive green, black, and white checked tile floors. Outside, you'll find a private, tree-filled backyard that includes a custom-built treehouse designed by Jesse James Studio Architects, a local firm with ties to renowned architect Frank Gehry. This home successfully blends vintage charm with modern updates, making it a unique and inviting space.
